Our hearts are full after our first Marketfest event!  It was so fun meeting with families, playing games, and watching kids create art projects in our beautiful space.  (We'll have more activities in our building at next week's Marketfest, too!)

Great things are happening inside the Getty and we are so thrilled to see our vision become a reality.  It's been our dream to open our own microschool for several years and we have always had a very clear picture of what we wanted in our space.  As each construction project reaches completion, we become one step closer to truly living out our dreams. 

We are proud to offer a unique, student-centered learning environment in a welcoming and accessible space. Our physical location is housed within a building also used by two local churches. While we share the same facility, Heart Learning Collective is not affiliated with either church in any religious, organizational, or financial capacity.

This shared space arrangement allows us to keep costs manageable while providing a warm, flexible learning environment for our students. We are grateful for the opportunity to use this space during the school week, and we operate independently with our own leadership, mission, and educational philosophy.

We understand the importance of transparency and want to assure our families that our curriculum and daily activities are entirely secular and focused on academic, social, and emotional growth in line with our core values.

Lots of progress has already been made as our beautiful building is updated.  Demo has been completed, new bathrooms are being built, electrical and plumbing are being updated, and painting has started!  We are so excited to be able to share this journey with our community and can't wait until we can officially open our doors and welcome everyone inside!

Until that time comes, our next Meet & Greet is TOMORROW at Washington Square.  This is a great opportunity to meet with us, have your questions answered, and learn more about what we have to offer for your child's education.  We hope you'll join us!

Since hard-launching our website and social media sites, we have found ourselves amidst a flurry of excitement!  Opening our own microschool has been a dream of ours for several years and we never imagined that it was something we would be able to accomplish anytime soon.  But with our big dreams and hard work, we are making it happen!

This past week, we were featured in the White Bear Press.  Since publication, the outpouring of support for and interest in Heart Learning Collective has been immense!  We are so excited to meet with new families and partner with them in their child's educational journey.

We are two passionate educators with over 40 years of combined teaching experience, and we’re embarking on an exciting journey to open a microschool for K-5 learners! Our vision is to create a nurturing, innovative learning environment that prioritizes arts, creativity, imagination, personalized instruction, and collaboration.
